Boiled Broccoli

A large pot of broccoli steaming and boiling on a stovetop

Ingredients

  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Bring two quarts (or litres) of generously salted water to a vigorous boil.
  2. Boil broccoli florets for one minute and 45 seconds.
  3. Drain away water through a collander or strainer.
  4. Cool briefly before serving.
